New guide to help organisations effectively deal with complaints involving human rights

The Human Rights Unit of the Department of Justice and Regulation has released its new Good Practice Guide: Managing Complaints Involving Human Rights, to help public authorities effectively deal with complaints about human rights.

This guide is intended to inform, complement, be incorporated into, or be read in conjunction with organisations' own complaint handling procedures.

The guide was created with input from the Commission, along with the Victorian Ombudsman and the Independent Broadbased Anti-corruption Commission.
