Support a film that will change attitudes about disability and sexuality

The Commission's Disability Reference Group member Thomas Banks is making a documentary to combat stereotypes around disability and sexuality, and show that everybody deserves to find love.

Over the past four years, the Thomas Banks' Quest For Love film crew have shot the film on a shoestring budget and now require funding support to finalise production and broadcast the film.

Thomas has launched a Pozible crowdfunding campaign to raise essential funds for post-production editing, voice over recording, music and graphics and get the final product out to broadcasters and festivals.

The campaign closes on Monday 25 May, 2015, giving the team a few short weeks to double pledges and reach the target goal of $10,000. Funding will only be received if 100 per cent of the target goal is reached.

The film has been successful in the Creative Partnerships Australia MATCH funding program, which provides up to $10,000 of in-principal matched funds. This means every dollar raised in the upcoming Pozible campaign will be doubled if the target is reached.

There are many ways you can support:

Thomas would be grateful for every little bit of support for the film - whether that’s a donation of money or even just telling friends or colleagues about it.
