Education state consultations – have your say

The Victorian Government is seeking input from the community on key issues relating to education in Victoria.

The Education State consultation site www.educationstate.education.vic.gov.au outlines the range of ways people can participate through reading consultation papers, getting involved in online discussions or attending one of a number of consultation sessions across Victoria.

Education State is calling for discussion on a number of key questions and topics to help improve Victoria’s education system, including how to improve experiences and outcomes for disadvantaged students and students with disabilities.

The Commission has previously researched and made recommendations relevant to education in its report Held Back: the experiences of students with disabilities in Victorian schools. You can read the report and other supporting materials here.

The Commission encourages individuals and organisations – including parents and students – to have their say by participating in these consultations.
