Victoria gets ready for Cultural Diversity Week

Victorians come from more than 200 countries, speak 260 languages and dialects and follow 135 religious faiths. In less than a month, we get to celebrate our multiculturalism and community spirit during Cultural Diversity Week.

Coordinated by the Victorian Multicultural Commission, Cultural Diversity Week is built around United Nations Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination on 21 March. The week long event kicks off on Saturday 12 March and ends on Sunday 20 March.

Check out the official program for your pick of hundreds of events and activities across the state.

Once again, the Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission will be part of the Multicultural Festival at Federation Square. Come visit us at our stall and help yourself to free information and promotional items and learn all bout the Anti-Hate campaign.

The Commission remains committed to ensuring that information on discrimination is accessible and available to Victorians from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
