New initiative to help CALD seniors connect online

Seniors from multicultural backgrounds are receiving assistance to help them get connected online.

Face-to-face technology training sessions will be delivered to more than 6000 seniors in over 40 library services across Victoria. Sessions cover a range of topics, including an introduction to using tablets, using the internet and social media, and how to stay safe online.

Training will be offered in a variety of languages including Arabic, Cantonese, Croatian, Dari, Greek, Italian, Macedonian, Mandarin and Vietnamese.
